If you're a UO faculty member, UO student, or UO staff person and you're currently receiving spam on your Darkwing, Gladstone, or Oregon account, please report it to us so we can take appropriate steps to limit or eliminate it.
There are a few things you'll need to keep in mind when reporting spam:
1. We need a copy of the complete spam with full headers. Please see http://micro.uoregon.edu/fullheaders/ for information on how to get full headers.
2. We need to get the spam that slipped through to your account within a day or two of the time it was sent to you.
3. Please send the spam to spam@uoregon.edu
It's also important to note that we can help only with spam sent to your UO email accounts on darkwing.uoregon.edu, gladstone.uoregon.edu, or oregon.uoregon.edu
If you receive spam sent to a departmental email account, or spam sent to a third-party account you may use (such as an AOL account or a Hotmail account), you will need to report it directly to the people who are responsible for those systems.
