UO Joins Advanced Internet Measurement Effort

The University of Oregon is now participating in Advanced.Org's Surveyor program, a cutting-edge Internet measurement effort targeting one-way delay metrics.

Based on work being done in the IETF's Internet Protocol Performance Metrics Working Group, Surveyor measures the performance of the Internet paths among partcipating organizations around the world. It is also developing methodologies and tools to improve the ability to effectively engineer the Internet infrastructure. For more information on this program, see http://www.advanced.org/Surveyor
