The latest version of OpenSSH, the Internet encryption software, was released
June 26. (OpenSSH protects your password and other vital information from being
captured by attackers when you use the Internet.)
The new version fixes several serious bugs discovered in versions 2.3.1 through
3.3, including an input validation error that can result in abuse of root privileges.
Details are available in a revised advisory released in June (http://openssh.com/txt/preauth.adv).
Upgrading to the latest version is highly recommended.
