Early on Wednesday morning, August 21, we will begin installing a major release of the Solaris operating system on Darkwing and Gladstone. The machines are likely to be completely unavailable from the start of the upgrade until its completion. If all goes well, they should be up again sometime the following day, but it's possible that unforeseen problems could increase the down time through Friday, August 23. We will do our utmost to reduce the inconvenience, but everyone should be prepared for a two- or three-day hiatus.
