With its latest software upgrade, the Documents Room library catalog became
web-accessible.
Anyone can now check the Documents Room catalog by author, title, keyword, or
subject from any computer that is online.
The URL for the Docs Room catalog is http://docsrm.uoregon.edu
In addition to searching the catalog, you can place holds on library materials
and check the status of your account over the web, using your Documents Room
username and password.
Catalog password system. Catalog usernames and passwords are unique to the
Documents Room system, so if you want to be able to use the online catalog to
place holds or check your account status, ask for your username and password
the next time you visit the Documents Room.
If you don't want to be bothered with having to remember yet another name and
password, you can simply email docsrm@oregon.uoregon.edu
to request a hold on any item.
Note: You do not need a username and password to merely search the web
catalog.
The Documents Room plans to have web access to the catalog available 24 hours
a day, seven days a week, with short intermissions for backup each weekday around
5 pm.
