Portland State, like Oregon State and the UO itself, makes its I2 connection via the Oregon Gigapop, which is located in Eugene and is operated and managed by the UO.

I2 now also peers with Surfnet and Nordunet. Surfnet is the high-performance network servicing educational institutions in the Netherlands (http://www.gigaport.nl/), including Twente, Utrecht, Erasmus, Vrije, and dozens of others. Nordunet is the high-performance network servicing Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
