A bug in Sendmail 8.12.7 caused Darkwing users some annoyance recently when duplicate email messages began to appear frequently in their mailboxes. Because of the Sendmail bug, Darkwing's mail queue wasn't updating quickly enough, causing some messages to be sent multiple times.
To avoid this problem, system administrators who are running Sendmail may want to lower the "CheckpointInterval:" option in their server's sendmail.cf until a patch becomes available.
