The latest release of MacTV, version 1.0.9, provides a way for Mac OS X users
to view the university's IP/TV multicast sessions.
The application takes advantage of Mac OS X's multicast capabilities and preemptive
multitasking, permitting users to continue working while the audio and video
streams play. MacTV allows users to view MPEG1, H.261 and QuickTime streams
and includes an electronic program guide.
