Oregon's laws and regulations are the e-friendliest in the nation, according to a new study by a Washington, D.C., think tank.
The Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) ranked each state on the degree to which
its laws and regulations encouraged e-commerce, e-government, and digital signatures.
Specifically, the institute looked at how states facilitated telemedicine and
online commerce. According to these criteria, Oregon was rated the "nation's
best for Internet users."
