Archival copies of data from the UO's Route Views Project are now available
at
http://www.antc.uoregon.edu/route-views/
The Route View project provides views of the Internet BGP routing tables from various providers at various locations around the Internet, showing for each prefix/provider location pair the route that traffic would take to that prefix from that provider location.
What's new is that we are now taking a snapshot of both the full routing table and dampened routes only every two hours and archiving them online at http://rv-archive.uoregon.edu/
A typical snapshot amounts to a little over four million records, which works out to roughly 12MB once compressed. These snapshots are a rich source of raw material for analysts, and are already being used by a variety of researchers worldwide.
