Whether you're a new student registering for classes via DuckWeb, the administrator of a departmental budget, a payroll clerk preparing payroll, or a staff member using the UO's online directory, your work is being facilitated by the Computing Center Ôs Administrative Services group.
The Administrative Services IT staff supports applications that are used by practically every department on campus, as well as some areas of the Oregon University System. The Knight Library, the EMU, Business Affairs, Registrars, Admissions, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Facilities Services, Housing, Printing Services, the Student Health Center, Telecommunications, administrative users in the academic departments--all benefit from Administrative Services' policy development, database design, application systems analysis, program development, security planning, and all-around technical support.
Administrative Services is specifically responsible for BANNER applications such as A/R, FIS, HRIS, SIS, FinAid, DuckWeb, DuckCall, the UO Directory, and the data warehouses. In addition, they support many auxiliary administrative applications including Housing DeDuck dining card, Residence Halls and Family Housing systems, the Student Health Center's appointment system, and Printing Services' job tracking and Quick Copy rating system, to name a few.
