Still Using Telnet? Please Switch to SSH!

If you're still using Telnet to connect to Darkwing, Gladstone, Oregon, or other systems, you should know your username and password are at risk of being "sniffed" or "eavesdropped" upon.

SSH is a replacement for Telnet that encrypts your traffic between your desktop and the remote system you're using. You should begin using it instead of Telnet.

This year's Duckware CD-ROM has SSH software for PCs and Macs. For more information about SSH, see http://www.ssh.org/
