Earlier this month, several key Computing Center services began moving into their spacious new facilities on the ground floor of Grayson Hall.

Microcomputer Services, Computer Accounts, the Electronics Shop, the Documents Room Library, and two new microcomputer labs are now ready to serve you in their new location.

Microcomputer Services (Room 151, 346-4412)

The new Microcomputer Services help desk area is located at the north end of the building in Room 151. If you have questions about UO computing accounts or need help with a personal-computer related problem, this is the place to visit.

Multimedia Facilities. You'll also find several multimedia stations nearby for scanning images, capturing video, and manipulating large media files.

Computing Accounts (346-1738). Account clerks are available to assist you with account access and password questions and to process administrative requests for BANNER access and password changes.

Documents Room Libary (Room 175, 346-4406)

The new library is located on the south side of the building facing the central courtyard. There is plenty of seating near windows overlooking the courtyard, and carrels where students can connect their laptops to the Internet.

Electronics Shop (Room 151, 346-3548)

The reception desk for hardware repairs/upgrades is also located in Room 151 at the north end of the building, conveniently close to the loading dock and parking.

Microcomputer Labs (Rooms 101 and 101A, 346-0787)

A new open-access lab and an instructional lab are across the hall from the Documents Room. The open lab is equipped with 20 Windows machines, a color scanner, and a laser printer, while the instructional lab has 20 Windows-based computers with an LCD projection unit. Instructors wishing to reserve the instructional lab should contact Mary Bradley at 346-1737 or send email to mbradley@oregon.uoregon.edu
