UO Obtains Site License for GIS Software

The College of Arts and Science, Allied Arts and Architecture, Office of Research, and the Ed Tech committee have funded a campus site license for ESRI software. ESRI's products include the popular ArcView and ArcInfo software packages for Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Users can install the software on their office or home computers. The software will also be available in campus computer labs for those who don't have their own computer. More information on installing and using this software is available at http://esri.uoregon.edu/
